Today with the kind and generous permision of our headmaster, over 200 pupils (of the 500 in the school) protested against war, at John Beddoes School in Presteigne, Powys. We put posters, banners, and a large CND logo up on the fence on to the road, and stood in near silence. After about 40 minutes we were asked to return to lessons, about 50 pupils decided to stay out and continue the stand for the rest of the day. A number of teachers attempted to move us with threats of letters home to parents, intimidation, targeting individuals and even insults! We resisted stayed out sat in a CND logo until the end of the day. We received lots of support from passers by.
