Not enough to stop a war, but enough to....

140 Labour MPs voted against going to war in Iraq, the greater majority of Blair's Labour party colleagues in fact. The numbers soar from 121 the last time to 140 yesterday.

The Labour rebellion was not enough to stop the war in Iraq, but is a serious blow to Blair, and puts his leadership in crisis, not enough to stop a war, but enough to boot out Blair soon. Blair will face a leadership challenge soon, for losing the support of the majority of Labour MPs and the wider general public that they represent. Just as Thatcher, Major and company fell foul of the voters, and were removed before putting their political parties status in government at risk, unless Blair is removed, he will be a serious burden to Labour holding power in the next general elections. With widespread public protests, stoppages and walk outs against the War, Blair is an embarrrassment to the labour party, bringing us into serious disrepute through his conduct and new labour old tory political policies.
