On this day March 16th in 1968, a group of American soldiers confronted 347 civilians --primarily old men, women, children, and babies-- torturing and raping some, and murdering them all. It was only the most spectacular of many American atrocities during that war. Protected by one Major Colin Powell, most of the war criminals have never been punished.
