Members of UCL stop the war coalition dropped a banner reading NO WAR FOR OIL and END THE OCCUPATION in Oxford Street during the Friday lunch hour.

Response to the antiwar banner drop was very positive. The sun was warm and bright and the banner remained in place along with two noisy protesters overlooking the road near Bond Street tube for about 45 minutes.
The Police taped off part of the pavement on the North side, but there were no arrests.
