Danish anti-war activists blocade warship leaving for the Mediterranian

13 activists were arrested when several hundred tried to prevent the warship Olfert Fischer from leaving the port of the small town Korsoer in Sealand

13 antiwar activists were arrested when several hundred tried to prevent the warship Olfort Fischer from leaving the port of the small town Korsoer in Sealand.

The activists entered the naval station - but the ship had left hours earlier, cancelling the officiel ceremonies, and leaving like a thief at night to join the criminal war exercise of George W. Bush as part of the NATO fleet in the Mediterranean.

The ship also avoided a blocade of the harbour entrence by activist in boats.

The Danish govenment of Anders Fogh (Conservative) supports the Bush-Blair war and prepares for active participation in this criminal affair.

Big demonstrations in Copenhagen and several other cities in Denmark tomorrow Saturday will focus on this issue. Among the speakers in Copenhagen will be a former socialdemocratic prime minister Anker Joergensen, who has denounced the war as illegitimate, whether it receives a 'green light' from the UN ´Security Council or not.
