Don't Release Polystyrene, Foam or Feathers at Airfileds

I am a concerned citizen who believes that anti-war protesters may decide to release poylstyrene, feathers, foam, or similar items at military airfields.

This is a very dangerous thing to do, as if planes take off & subsequently suck these materials into their engines it could possibly cause an explosion.

If anyone knows that this has occurred they should called 999 immediately so as to be sure that planes do not take off, & that no-one is injured as a result of such actions.

My concerns are probably exaggerated, as it would probably take a huge release of such material to cause any real problems. Nonetheless please let people know that they should not release these items at airfields.

I am also concerned.

People who wish to protest by hanging around perimeters of airbases should note that they must not bring with them Microsoft Flight Simulator manuals particularly in the Arabic language less they be mistaken for terrorists with intention of hijacking aircrafts.

Refrain from bringing sharp implements for peeling your fruits - anything resembling "box cutters" would immediately be suspicious. File down your fingernails as these can be construed as weapons.

I am concerned that there are countries other than Israel in the world that have weapons of mass destruction and are in violation of UN resolutions.
So let's bomb them.

So if we rip up a duvet, and then inform the authorities, the bombers won't take off? Surely it can't be that easy?

The point is that one plane and one person killed is a far less serious thing than the death that the plane would cause through bombing. And a much bigger point is that the material that "would get sucked into the engines" would have to be floating in the air. The planes dont exactly pull in bits of loose grass do they!
