help needed Americans plan antiwar demonstration outside their British Consulate

Hi,
I'm a member of houston.indymedia.org.
I'm hoping people reading this site have been involved in a recent antiwar demonstration in the UK. We're organizing a demonstration outside our local British Consulate, "in solidarity with the British people, whose will for peace is being repressed by the undemocratic regime of Tony Blair." We'd like our demonstration to borrow themes from demonstrations in your country.
Please reply (soon!) if you can provide examples of recent:
(1) rally announcements formatted for email or http
(2) fliers in word or .pdf format
(3) press releases
(4) sign & chant ideas targeting Blair
(5) any other great ideas!
Also, we'd love to have a list of British media contact email addresses, esp. Houston correspondents, if any. If possible, please post here as a comment rather than emailing me to avoid redundant efforts.
Thanks!
JON

However, perhaps concentrating your efforts against Bush & his gang might be be more appropriate.
Let the Iraqi people deal with Saddam, the British with Blair, & the Americans with Bush...
Just an idea. Tho, at this stage, everything is so surreally absurd that it almost doesn't matter what we do as long as it's anti this obscenely psychotic murderous aggression against the innocent children, elderly, women, poor, people of Iraq.
And remember, Iraq is only for starters...

one of the most active anti-war groups in Britain are "Cambridge Students Against The War" they have lots of members and hangers on and are very good at getting the word out to the press, promoting demonstrations and contacting other peace-groups. Ask them for help and they are bound to give you a big list of do's dont's and contacts. They will probably do a bit of promotion and send some people along too! :)

Good luck

PS: If you get this off the ground you must make every effort to get the reports in the US press too (I know this is difficult!!) - the peace movement in the US needs much more support right now!
