water of life. day of death? March 17

It is considered possible that March 17 will be the day U.S. President Bush 2 declares war on Iraq.
It is considered normal that March 17 is the day Irish people celebrate their national holiday St. Patricks day.

Patrick´s day is always a cliché ridden affair.
no place more than in New York City. the NYC IMC readership need no explanation of how their City is changed by various groups on an anual basis.
One cliché is the explanation of "whiskey".
The gaelic and original word for Whiskey is "uisce beatha" which directly translated means "water of life".
It is felt repugnant that the USA could declare this War anyday by many of the Irish people resident in Ireland, Europe USA or the rest of the world, but to select our national holiday as the day when war is opened is felt to be a slight typical of the current administration in Washington. An administration not known for it´s tact.
It is hoped that all those who will celebrate St Patrick´s day will enjoy it, but if March 17 is the day that Bush unleashes his War upon Iraq, all those who would celebrate that day are asked to consider their action.
