Info.

I have been told (a source within the Saudi military) that the US is already crossing the border into Iraq from Saudi Arabia. Can anyone verify this?

Special Forces are already believed to be operating in Iraq - don't know about regular army, though.

They've cut three holes in the fences on the borders and Americans have been seen where they don't belong in the demilitarized zone.

But this is a technicality.

I think we'll take the official beginning to be when they begin their cowardly airstrikes on the civilians of Baghdad.

The Saudi-Iraqi frontier is several hundred miles long and I doubt whether the Iraqis can patrol all of it. It can be taken for granted that US Special Forces etc. have slipped across, and may have started doing so several weeks ago. But this wouldn't be the invasion itself.
