A small group of assorted anti-war activists breached the fences of USAF Fairford under the shroud of darkness on the night of Sunday 10th March. Holes were cut at several points at the western tip of the airbase, right at the end of the runway, around the gate 12 area. An entire row of landing lights somehow got totally obliterated, along with several other landing lights of various description and colour. Three were arrested for aggravated tresspass, and were discharged from stroud police station four hours later. Others made a hasty escape.
This action will show the US troops and their British servants that the use of British soil, or indeed any soil, for the purpose of extreme US aggression, will not stand. It will send the message that no part of any military installation is safe under growing hostility to an insane and unjustified act of aggression. The floppsy bunnies encourage more direct action at army bases and the destruction, where possible, of any and all military apparatus.
