ARROW: Graffiti On Your Money For Peace

LL | 11.03.2003 15:55

Good ideas from Arrow

Unless it deems your money obsolete, I think it is a really catchy and easy method to circulate the ‘no war’ message on the back of the economy. Coins are not immune with the aid of a sticker. Credit to Arrow.

Do it

It doesn't zero out your money, I've done it a while back.

It just means it limits it's circulation. THe banks will wipe them out, but it gets the message out. If all 2 million of us do it, it could cost the royal mint a fair bit

do it!

this a great idea and if you don't like the idea of explaing your actions, just say it wasn't you who did it or Use the notes at ticket machines at train stations.

Once there's a few 1000 in circulation they won't be avoidable.

Do it to letters

I have been writing 'stop the war' on letters sent through the post but I don't send many. At least a few postal workers and the recipient will see the message.

more than no war

It doesn't just end at writing 'no war on Iraq'

stats, facts, web address are all useful eg:

UNICEF estimates 500,000 civilians will be killed in a war on Iraq

No more poodles - send blair a dog biscuit

who sold wmd's to Iraq - we did

www.j-n-v.org

etc etc

(incidentally the www.j-n-v.org website is a good one - allegedly people have been flyposting & stickering to make the address look like a new marketing campaign - u only know what it is when u get there)

Another good move is to put a speech bubble out of that windsor womans mouth on the notes with your chosen message
- about time she said something useful...
