Clare Short's threatened resignation has caused problems for the poodle. Either he sacks her and looks even more isolated, or he leaves her and looks week.
Kofi Annan (spelling OK?) announced that any attack on Iraq without a clear UN approval for military action would be illegal. This is quite a historic pronouncement!
Finally, according to a report on the world indymedia site, Papa Bush made a speech in Massachussetts (spelling?) where he questioned the wisdom of Dubya going alone.
With Turkey and George Bush Senior on side, this world is getting steadily weirder.
