A Cypriot in London told me this morning that his family had phoned from Cyprus to tell him that according to reports there 'military targets around Baghdad were bombed last night'.

I have been unable to find any other confirmation of this. Anyone able to confirm or otherwise? Any Baghdad readers here?

Targets 60 miles from Baghdad WERE bombed !!

UPI reports that "On Sunday, U.S. aircraft bombed five unmanned underground military communication sites 60 miles from Baghdad after Iraqi forces fired a surface-to-air missile at coalition aircraft, U.S. Central Command announced." (From today's "Iraq situation at a glance, 3rd item from the end").
