Good plan but why that date? I received this from my local antiwar group:

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF INDUSTRIAL ACTION, Fri 21 Mar
This day has been called as 'a day of workplace solidarity against war' by Stop the War movements in 27 countries. It will finish with a rally and open mic session in Churchill Square, Brighton 5.30pm.

Schnews are also promoting the 21 March:
International Day of Industrial Action a day of workplace solidarity against war by (by Stop the War coalition in 27 countries) This action is encouraging workplace assemblies and various forms of industrial action.

Either way we'd still get a 3 day weekend, if we do both we'd have two 3 day weekends and a 3 day week!

The European TUC have just called for anti-war stoppages at noon on Friday 14 March.

Maybe we should all just go on indefinite strike?

...so what happens the next day, when I go back in and the boss sacks me? Are you actually employed or another "activist" banding about naive sloganeering and ideas? Get real.
