Message just in from the Gloucester Weapons Inspectors' meeting to analyse the day's events at the USAF Fairford. All is quiet this evening.

There have been no more reports of loading of missiles since 11am this morning, no further armaments have been moved and no B52s have taken off. It is highly likely that what was seen this morning was a training exercise.

There seems no imminent change due in this situation, and Weapons Inspectors will make announcements when there is. Please pass this message on, and will the lovely IMC-ers amend their front page story to this effect.
