Dear Ref USA deportation of Abel castello-Diaz,

I would be extreemly appreciative if you give support to the case of Abel castello-Diaz:He is a39 year old Critical Care RN who was trained in the USA country during his 26years living there is been deported at the end of a 15 year effort to become a citizen, because of a clerical error. He presently working at Abington Memorial Hospital(AMH), Abington. PA.  martabel@comcat.com Emails of support could be sent to him.
If readers had other ideas or contacts could they please help.

During those years he always maintained an Employment Authorization Card, paid
taxes and followed the guidelines of the INS The story has already attracted some
attention in the local newspapers. An article about his story was on the front page of
The Daily Intelligencer in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

His case appeared before the Board of Immigration Appeals in the spring of 2002 and
denied his appeal on August 15, 2002. but this letter never arrived.A Deportation
Order was issued for December 5th, 2002. and Board of Immigration Appeals January
3rd, 2003 refused him on a technicality( 30-days notice.)

This is not the first time that unfortunate circumstances, beyond his control have
undermined his efforts to adjust his status. In March of 1997 he was scheduled to
appear before the INS but his hearing was postponed until May.On April 1st, a new
law went into effect disqualifying him him from a Green Card due to the
Postponement of just two months. An identical case to his Barahona Vs Ashcroft was
recently settled in the 9th District Court in California.

I know there is a world shortage of nurses it is incomprehensible how a qualified
Critical Care Registered Nurse trained in the United States and currently a valued
member at a major suburban hospital can be deported like this. The hospital wants to
help by sponsoring him for a Green Card. They have even signed him to a 5 year
contract.
Of his plight he says

“Each day I get up and put on my scrubs to do my job, saving the lives of American
citizens. My dream is to one day become one of them.”Abel Castello-Diaz, RN

Please do what you can to secure his status and stop the deportation.Thank you in
anticipation.
