LORD NATO AT LSE

LSEstopthewar | 04.03.2003 16:51

Lord Robertson, British defence minister during the Kosovo war and now Secretary General of NATO, will be speaking at LSE this Thursday, at 3.30pm in the Old Theatre.

Robertson is one of those pushing for increased NATO participation (split as the Alliance currently is) in the war on Iraq. London School of economics, and other universities will be doing our best to ensure that this warmonger will not be given a platform at our uni.
PLEASE ARRIVE BY 3.00 TO HELP PREVENT HIS ENTRANCE... also if you want to come to our campus a little earlier there will be FOOD NOT BOMBS (from noon) so you can get fed, bring noise making stuff, visual stuff and some trouble making..

The event has been cancelled, Robertson is not coming. I don't know if there'll still be food not bombs.

RUNNING SCARED

05.03.2003 22:00

Tony Blair rushed in to parliament through the back entrance (going to PM's question time) and Gorgey Porgy to hiding behind a press office whilst cancelling engagements, um? Public accountability? or running scared?

I'm gonna go to food not bombs, see what's happening..........
