The United States and Britain wish to fool you (France and Russia) into believing that an attack on Iraq is a fait accompli, whether or not you oppose it in the United Nations.

Please take my word: they are bluffing: they are trying to scare you into bending. Hold firm, and they will retreat.

Blair cannot go to war without a UN security council vote, and certainly not if Hans Blix gives a positive report. Bush will not go to war without Blair, please take my word for this.

For the honour of France and Russia, and the peace of the world: hold firm and make them bend.

They are already drawing up contingency plans to postpone the war until the autumn when things are cool again. Make them use them.
