For showing Bush a real democracy

We should express appreciation to Turkey, and at the same time declare that the American people are still friends with the people of Turkey, whatever our government's response may be.

Here are email addresses that you may use to express your views.

Only brief, friendly expressions of appreciation please! And forward this to other like-minded anti-war activists!

Good Luck America!

I’m a middle aged working class British guy and I’ve given much thought to the forthcoming war on Iraq and I am undecided about this war, but if push was to come to shove, I would be on the side of the Americans. I am certain that if I went to Iraq and spoke with the ordinary people in the street the majority of them would want the Americans and the British running their country, at least until a fitting democratic government and system was put into place. As for the American people, I have nothing but sympathy for what happened to them on the 9-11. We all know that Great Britain and the US, whilst claiming to be democratic, are in reality not as democratic as they make out, but they are a million miles ahead of Saddam Hussein’s government. Hussein is an evil tyrant who has killed thousands of his own people. In the name of democracy he needs to be removed.

GOOD LUCK AMERICA!!

An American Viewpoint

As an American, I also say good luck America. I hope that local and world-wide protests can stop this war-hungry Bush untlil the next elections, and he can be run out of the office that he never won. It's scarey what's going on. And even a superficial knowledge of history shows that America doen't spend $$$billions to rid a local population of a local tyrant, (unless there's oil, of course ).
Let's save our young from a war that cannot be won, not really, and a war that will not end (do they even want it to?)
No, whether you like or hate America, the goal should be the same: to stop Bush.
