We have we lost the argument against fascism!

Harlequin | 01.03.2003 12:03

At least 80 per cent of the population support a strong crackdown on asylum seekers. Far right candidates get between twice and four times as many votes as socialist candidates. Despite campaigns against racism and to defend asylum seekers we have lost the battle.

Anyone in Britain today can tell that the vast majority of the population have been won over by right wing propaganda against asylum seekers and in support of oppresive legislation to combat terrorism. The far right inlcuding the mainstream far right like the Daily Mail have won!

And this proves my point!

And to just to prove the point BNP candidate Steven Batkin won over 19 per cent of the vote in the recent Stoke on Trent mayoral candidate and only because of a massive intensive campaign by anti-fascists who leafleted every home in the city!

110,000 applications a year is unsupportable

01.03.2003 13:47

110,000 approx applications for asylum a year... and through one route or another over half remaining at tax payers expense is an unrealistic burdon on an already overtaxed citizenry. Its a slap in the face when the parasites that manage to ride the system then get health care and benefits far in excess of those our own unemployed are provided with. There are genuine applications for asylum but the vast majority are either economic in origin or fleeing from crimes they have themselves committed.... one just has to look at the organised albanian and kurdish gangs in london, the majority of whom came here on an assylum application to see this. But in reality 50,000 is a small burdon in comparison to the estimated Hordes of illegal immigrants who bypass the asylum system, sneak into the country and then just go to ground. NO wonder the public is incensed.

The system needs to be totally re planned and implemented so that only those who genuinely need asylum are granted it.
