France, Germany and Russia have shown great courage and strength in defyng the self-appointed Ruler of the World, America. We in the peace movement, especially those of us who can most afford to, should show our economic support for the people of these countries. As the economic boycott of the U.S. and its lap-dog in the Middle East- Israel, expands, simultaniously we should increase our purchase of products and services that will benefit the economies of France, Germany, Russia and other nations bravely defying the warmongrel American Empire. French cheese and wine, German beer, Russian food and other such things can become alternative substitutes for their (often shoddy) American counterparts. Do some research and find which restaurants-or even "fast food" outlets, are French(German, Russian, etc.) owned and go there for your vittles rather than a McDogs**t(you know what I mean) outlet. Look for other products/services which will financially benefit these countries. This we can do until when/if America's war on Iraq (and elsewhere) is stopped. Then we can get back to concentrating on fighting global capitalism itself. In a way, we will be turning the capitalist beast against its chief perpetrators!
