Letter to Bill Clinton re Regime change in Iraq?

Simon w. | 17.02.2003 13:47

Bremner, Bird and Fortune - Mention was made of a letter written to Bill Clinton in 1998 urging regime change in Iraq.

Does anyone have more information?

During 'Bremner, Bird and Fortune' (Ch4 Sunday 16th Feb) reference was made to a letter sent to Bill Clinton in February 1998 urging regime change in Iraq.

What's the significance?

Well apparently this letter was signed by loads of people connected with the Oil and Arms industries in the US, including quite a few of the 'Hawks' that are now in control of the Bush War Campaign.

This is another proof that the War on Iraq has nothing to do with a war on terrorism, but is really connected with the desire to control the Oil and US empire building.

The only reference I have been able to find so far is:

(search in page for 'Clinton')

Does anyone else have more information??

I've heard a lot about it but I dont have a link, it was signed by all the hawks in the admin right now, Rumsfeld, Cheney maybe I duno, most of them. They urged him to invade saying it would be in the US's vital interests in the region etc.
