In Hollywood California, land of Palm Trees & Movie Stars... there is another reality. On Feb 15th a mass march began at the world famous intersection of Hollywood and Vine.
100,000 in Hollywood protest war!
The Los Angeles Police Department estimated that 100,000 people took to the streets to protest the war with Iraq. Yes, there were movie stars there... but the majority were working people, students, housewives, etc., most of which had never been on a demonstration before in their lives.
The famous sidewalk stars emblazoned with the names of great Actors past and present... became the path for tens of thousands of Los Angelenos who demanded an end to war.
