UK Indymedia getting messed with?

ziggy | 15.02.2003 06:17

gremlins

http://uk.indymedia.org works as a direct link. But DNS resolution and redirection coming off

 http://www.indymedia.org.uk/

isn't working.

Maybe 10 Downing Street or MI5 needed some entertainment? ;-)

http://www.indymedia.org.uk/ is what is behind the "United Kingdom" link on all the Indymedia sites, alas.

www.Indymedia.co.uk has stopped working, too. Odd.

Poptel informed

As far as I can tell, the problem is that the DNS servers at poptel.net (who run the domains) are no longer configured to issue and IP address for them.

I've informed them of the problem although given I don't work for indymedia they may well ignore the message.

sorted now

it's sorted now - it wasn't the DNS but the web services at poptel which went down.
