Protesting police killed by soldiers in Bolivia

Strikes and protests against the Bolivian governments Washington approved economic policy including a general strike and peaceful marches in cities all over the country are continuing to put pressure on President Sánchez de Lozada's to resign.
The strikes are combined with protests and roadblocks organised by the coca growers and their leader former presidential candidate Evo Morales. On wednesday there was also a clash between police, who were protesting against low wages and troops in which at least 18 people were killed by soldiers loyal to the government.
