WARMONGERS OF LONDON WALK ANTI-WAR MARCH, FEBRUARY 15 2003, CENTRAL LONDON

See ya there | 14.02.2003 08:46

On Saturday 15 February up to a million people will gather in central London to demonstrate against the bloodthirsty cabal in whose name this war is being fought, and to insist that there can be no blood for arms and oil.

WARMONGERS OF LONDON WALK ANTI-WAR MARCH, FEBRUARY 15 2003, CENTRAL LONDON

Arms and oil corporations are well placed to make fat profits from the impending war with Iraq. Arms companies make their living from selling arms across the world, regardless of the use to which they are put, and stand to make millions from the massive military offensive now threatening the Iraqi people. Global oil corporations meanwhile, are on stand by, hoping to capitalise on the huge oil spoils to be had from regime change in Iraq. Arms companies, oil corporations and the Bush and Blair governments form a truly unholy alliance in this threatened aggression, aiding and abetting each other in their hunger to extract profits from war.

If you are planning to be at the march you may want to know that the two routes will be passing the doorsteps of some of the major corporate beneficiaries in this likely war on Iraq.

MARCH ROUTE, 15 FEBRUARY 2003

There are two starting points. Point A: assemble Embankment (Blackfriars or Temple tube) at 12 noon for march via Bridge St, Whitehall, Haymarket and Piccadilly.

Point B: assemble Gower St (nearest tubes Russell Square, Goodge St, Tottenham Court Rd) at 12 noon for march via Shaftesbury Ave. The two marches will join at Piccadilly Circus and proceed to rally in Hyde Park.
