Since the 22nd January a 32 year-old intern is on hungerstrike, protesting against the unjust and politicized convictions after the EU top-meeting. The institution management have met this protest with close to torturelike measures.

Because of this a solidarity-manifestation was held Saturday the 8th at Södermalmstorg in Stockholm. Nine other convicts from the Gothenburg-trials hungerstriked in sympathy at their respective institutions during the whole of Saturday.

The community Vänster.nu have taken initiative to a solidarity appeal and is calling upon people to mailbomb the prison institution.

According to the author and democracy protagonist Erik Wijk there will also be a solidarity-manifestation outside the Skänninge prison institution, though a date have not yet been set.
