320 people marched against war on Iraq in Worthing, West Sussex, today, Saturday. A rally with banners, speeches and songs in Montague Place, the heart of the town centre, was followed by a noisy march through the main shopping streets to the war memorial in Chapel Road. There, a symbolic wreath was laid for those who have died in wars and those who will die in them in the future. The organising group, Worthing Against War, was only set up last month.
