BNP HOUNDED OUT OF CROUCH END

rikki | 05.02.2003 00:26

A planned rally by the BNP at Hornsey Town Hall in Crouch End was scuppered by protestors tonight.

More than a hundred local people including local councillors gathered tonight outside Hornsey Town Hall ahead of a planned meeting by the BNP in Crouch End. Police had closed several local pubs in case of trouble, but a peaceful crowd representing a good cross-section of local residents gave a clear message that the racist organistion was not welcome. If any Nazis turned up, they soon left, realising that there was no support for their ill-thought-out views in this local community.

Police had a low key presence and there were no arrests and no reports of trouble.

'Smash the BNP' came sixth in the local pub quiz:)

I managed to spend plenty of time on the council estates in the area bumming young boys.

You can't "peacefully" drive out the BNP - they weren't scared off by a few lollipop wavers (I counted about 30).

About 50 militant anti-fascists + anarchists were lurkin around. One small group of fash got confronted by one antifa, they then promptly leapt into a car and sped off!

For the "master race" they sure are cowardly...
