European "leaders" take orders from Wall Street Journal

Yesterday's ad in favour of Bush's war in Iraq, which appeared in the Times and 11 other European newspapers, was initiated by the Wall Street Journal.
European prime ministers and presidents, including Silvio Berlusconi, Tony Blair and Jose Maria Aznar, shamelessly put their name under a piece of pro-war propaganda penned by the leading organ of neo-liberal ideology, the Wall Street Journal, it emerged today.
According to Spanish civil servant Jesús Andreu, quoted in Germany's taz, "it was an initiative of the Wall Street Journal. They approached various European heads of government."
