NATIONAL STUDENTS AGAINST THE WAR MEETING

Matt S | 29.01.2003 15:34

Oxford Students Stop the War have called a national gathering of all student peace groups, so that we can network and put together effective actions. All student anti-war groups, please try to send one or two delegates.

PLease forward this widely.

STUDENTS AGAINST THE WAR NATIONAL MEETING

Saturday February 8th, 12 pm onwards, New College, Holywell Lane, Oxford.

A chance for all student anti-war groups to come together and discuss what we can do to stop this war. An opportunity both to network, and to discuss what concrete (direct) actions we can take as a student movement.

This meeting is being called by Oxford Students Stop the War, an autonomous, non-hierarchical anti-war group. With the war looming, and lots of opportunities for real action coming up, we thought that we as student groups had to get together to plan what action we could take. This is a call to _every_ student peace group in the country, please send one or two delegates so that we can co-ordinate ourselves. Delegates from any group are welcome. If everyone sends a representative, the potential for action will be huge.

In peace,

OSSTW

Directions: From the coach station, head straight up George Street, and then continue straight on down Broad Street. Still going straight on, Holywell Lane begins with the Kings Arms pub on your left. Continue walking, and New College will be on your right.
