Israeli tanks and gunships pound defenceless Gaza

Taking a break from destroying homes and bridges and firing missiles at hospitals and Christian Chapels, nuclear armed Israel yesterday launched a ferocious onslaught on defenceless Gaza City, the most densely populated area on the planet.

In a rousing chorus of deafening silence, world leaders failed to point out that international law and UN resolutions apply to rogue states like Israel too.

George Bush rebuked Ariel Sharon by threatening to delay payment of billions more US tax dollars to build illegal settlements for fundamentalist fanatics - "I'm busy playing golf right now. I'll post the cheque tomorrow" said Bush from his ranch.

They targeted terrorists and gunman. There was a major battle. Unlike the Palestinian Islamo Nazis who target woman and children. Who the fuck are you to support these genocidal Arabs. No Arabs = No Terror.

Oooh, touchy. Boycott hurting is it?

To exclaim "No Arabs = No Terror" is a clear expression of the inherent racism of the ethnic cleansing rogue state par excellence and it's supporters. Israel's more demented supporters may call it "transfer", but the world's not fooled.

A quick check of the casualties will show that Israel is far ahead in the killing of women and children (and men). But then Israel's blind followers love to resort to the classic Goebbel's technique of telling the precise opposite of the truth. Again, the world's not fooled, even if the corporate media think we are.

Next stop is to kick Israel out of the European football championship and the Eurovision song contest. I mean, you won't find a geographer on the planet who thinks Israel is in Europe, so why do we let them participate? Most decent people didn't support apartheid in South Africa, so why would they want to support the Israeli version?

Hopefully, Europe will soon choose to stop sending millions of pounds to Israel for scientific co-operation (I kid you not). This will be particularly important since hi-tech (mostly weapons) is a big part of what's left of Israel's economy.

In the meantime, keep up the letters to supermarkets and anyone else that supports the Israeli terror state and demand they stop contributing to one of the greatest injustices of our times.

Try the following for boycott info and background to the Israeli conflict by some of the many, many Jews who don't support the degenerate regime of Ariel Sharon or the racist garbage written by Joe.

Joe is crude but right on

18.09.2003 19:32

Despite the crude rhetoric, "Joe" is dead on. The conflict has always been about Arab aggression and the Arab world's absolute refusal to acknowledge the moral and historical claims of Israelis to their homeland. You Palestinian supporters show the most appalling lack of historical knowledge - almost as ridiculous as your grotesque sense of "morals" which allow you to condone the vicious murder of small children based entirely on their ethnicity.
Fact: the Arab world has been the aggressor in this conflict for well over 100 years and has no legitimate claim to Israeli land.
Fact: Despite the above, the Arabs could have had a "Palestinian" state at any time since 1948. That they do not is due entirely to their genocidal bloodlust and determination to kill as many Jews as possible. To accept a state of their own under any circumstances would mean an end to the "legitimacy" of their "struggle."
Fact: Far more Jews (most estimates run around 900,000) were "cleansed" from Arab countries upon the formation of Israel in 1948; where is the demand for the "right" of return and compensation? There isn't any because Israel resettled those refugees immediately.
Fact: the so-called "refugees" of "Palestine" are simply a creation of the Arab world, which could have settled this problem decades ago. Their creation was also the responsibility of the Arabs, who encouraged people to flee their homes so as not to get in the way of the planned massacre of Jewish residents. Sadly, the resettlement of the "Palestinian" "refugees" does not serve the Arab world's violent, hateful interests.
Fact: the current "intifada" is entirely the fault of the "Palestinians," none of whom favor a peaceful resolution to the conflict which does not include the entire elimination of Israel and its population. How is a modern democratic state supposed to negotiate with such intransigence?
Fact: Arafat is genocidal bigot who is determined never to give up violence and live in peace. He is an absolute disaster for "his" people, most of whom would not support him were it not for armed intimidation by Arafat's "security" forces.
Fact: there are so many more facts of which the "Palestinian" apologists are either ignorant or refuse to acknowledge, trying to teach them anything is a very difficult task. After all, it appears to be difficult to give deeply-rooted and anti-Semitic beliefs.

What about your racism?

18.09.2003 21:34

It also appears to be difficult to give up deelpy-rooted anti-Islamic beliefs...

There are far more racist comments (about "Arabs" and "Palestinians" etc in general) in your anti-Arab tirade than you'll find in most of the criticism of Israel. Sure there's the odd anti-Semitic nut amongst them, but most of the criticism is directed at the terrorist policies of the Israeli *state*, not at either "Jews" or the population of Israel in general.

(In a similar vein, I have many criticisms of the policies and actions of the USA, and indeed of the UK for that matter. That does not mean I hate all Americans or all of my fellow Britons.)

Who is the bigger racist here, I ask?
