Demonstrate in the heart of Parliament

Next Tuesday's lobby and rally at Parliament presents an opportunity to bring all styles of anti-war protest into the heart of Parliament. A call to Wombles, Rhythms of Resistance and others to come along.

Alice Mahon MP has called for an afternoon of lobbying at Parliament next Tuesday the 18th Jan. This starts at 2.30 pm for those that have made appointments with their MPs. She has also booked the Grand Committee Room for a "Rally" at 7pm. This is open to the public. Now the thing is that the Committee room isn't all that big - I estimate it probably holds a max of 200 people. If thousands of us turn up, we can cause havoc and disruption and show once again that the people will not stand for this war. Note to any musicians that there are metal detectors on the way in, so maybe rhythms will have to remain outside, but I hope some creative disobedients come with ideas for folly and mayhem for the evening.

Peace and love.
