Long live to Norman G. Finkelstein! (by Latuff)

Latuff | 14.01.2003 14:32

Son of Maryla Husyt Finkelstein and Zacharias Finkelstein, both survivors of Warsaw Ghetto and concentration camps, Dr. Norman G. Finkelstein is author of four books, including "The Holocaust Industry". It's a great honour to have this cartoon published in his website:  http://www.normanfinkelstein.com/id137.htm

I think it's brilliant. Maybe if you are offended you should start thinking about why and maybe it's more down to someting wrong with the way you are thinking than with the cartoon.

yeah I think Norman is areal good guy, he has explained a lot about the zionist project, and knows where he's coming from, what with his parents being holocaust survivors, the dude stands against injustice..and nice one to latuff for anudder dingin cartoon

Hi
Unlike some of Latuffs cartoons which are offensive this one is excellent. Please read the 'Holocaust Industry' before being offended! Finklestein is criticising the ways in which the suffering of Jews in the Holocaust (such as his own parents) has been misappropiated by Zionists for their own agenda of racist oppression.

skewed history

although israel's treatment of the palestinians has been far from perfect, it is totally obscene to compare it to the holocaust, or liken israelis to nazis, who systematically shipped 11 million people to their well-organised death. the victims - jews, blacks, homosexuals, gypsies, etc, were killed because they were ideologically abhorrent to nazi ideas of racial purity. israel does not indiscriminately kill arabs for racist reasons. israel is not attempting to wipe out the entire palestinian population. furthermore, israel and palestine is a *political* situation - the large military Arab states surrounding Israel have still not recognised her right to exist, and still vow to 'chase the jews into the sea.' can you not understand israel still feeeling like a victim in this environment? moreover, given the way the media would still like to represent israel, and jews ('the jewish lobby' in america and other conspiracy theorist ideas) it would seem that israel, as well as the palestinians, is still very much liable to be a victim of the same sort of prejudice which ultimately legitimated the holocaust.
