Search of the KSRD activist flat
Persecution of the worker activists is getting the everyday rule and standart for security services in CIS countries. Ukraine doesn't stay behind her "sister Russia" in this uneasy cause. For the moment the criminal case of some mysterious terrorist organisation is being executed and the first investigatory actions are being carried out. One of the victims of these actions is appeared to be Yurij Dokukin, an activist of the Coordinational Council of the Working Movement (KSRD) and leading journalist of the "Working Action" Bulletin. We give the brief subscription of the search, which resulted in the confiscation of all equipment, which was present at that moment of search in the Yurij's flat including considarable quantity of printed and hand-written documents.
Ukraine Security Service (SBU) or more precisely Regional SBU Office in Nikolayevskaya obl. started the criminal case #202, article 258, item 4 of the criminal code ("Creation of the terrorist group or terrorist organisation - punished by imprisonment for a term from 8 to 15 years").
This brought up the comming 6 SBU officials to the Yurij Dokukin's flat on the 15-th of December. Later one more colleague joined them. The search lasted till the 4:30 in thr morning of the 16th of December and two witnesses were present during the search. While searching computer equipment (right up to mouses and flexes), about one hundred of floppy disks, different newspapers (preferences were given to the "Working Action" KSRD Bulletin, the newslettes of Ukrainian Kommunist Workers Union "Catalyst", newspaper of Russian Maoist Party "RMP-news") and other papers were seized.
Here in Ukraine we still remember the disgraceful "mushroomers case": after the crudely framed-up charge in "attempt of coup d'etat" SBU brought criminal proceedings against sickly old men. One of them was sentenced to the long-terme imprisonment at the colony of strict regime. These days new wide provocation is started. But on the role of "terrorists"young and strong activists are appointed. And the authorities will not stand on ceremony with them.
This is call to all honest left and worker activists to join the campaign of solidarity with the prosecuted Ukraine working activists. Below are contacts of law-enforcement agencies and institutions related to the case.

We are deeply indignant and shocked at provocative actions of SBU towards the worker activist of KSRD Yurij Dokukin. it is apparent that SBU attemt to involve the left journalist and working organisation KSRD in the dirty and framed-up case of mythical terrorist organisation. Under the pretext of the search at Yurij Dokukin's flat in fact the robbery took place, all computer equipment which was in the flat at the moment - computers and printers - wereseized. We consider this case is the beginning of "witch hunting" campaign in
Ukraine. We demand to stop the persecutions of worker activists.
