British press helping spread the BNP message!

One could today, be forgiven for thinking that the editors of five of Britain's national daily papers had suddenly become BNP converts, with headlines on the Daily Star, The Times, Daily Mail, Daily Express and Daily Telegraph all featuring the same story; namely that the north African gang arrested in north London on Weds 8th Jan in the poison terror incident were shock horror...asylum seekers! Even worse, the papers exclaimed was the revelation that the asylum seekers were housed by the local council and at taxpayers' expense.

Of course the press aren't suddenly supporting the BNP, despite these and similar headlines which have dominated the front pages for more than the past 12 months. The message the BNP has broadcast consistently for years, in fact for nearly two decades is the same message. Britain doesn't need asylum seekers, Britain doesn't want asylum seekers, Britain cannot afford asylum seekers.

"POISON GANG ARE ASYLUM SEEKERS"
Today's front cover of the Daily Express, a pro-Labour daily which nevertheless reflects public opinion on the asylum issue.

The mood of the nation is slowly changing. The headlines of the daily nationals and regionals reflect that change of mood. Ordinary people write in to the editors day in and day out expressing their sheer frustration and exasperation, they write to explain that they cannot understand why a flood of migrants are getting benefits, accommodation and services which our country can ill afford. They write to complain about the sheer injustice of a system which panders to the migrants when the State cannot fund a proper health service, its educational system, basic State pensions and integrated transport systems.

So with an avalanche of such correspondence the newspapers respond accordingly. Inevitably the readers of such papers will remember these choice headlines when polling day arrives in May for the many local and regional elections that are planned. They will also remember the one party that has consistently spoken out on such issues, the BNP. It is a rare occasion that the party expresses (no pun intended) its gratitude to the ex-Fleet St. gang but all we can say is thanks and keep up the good work lads!

Or more likely, the British press is spreading the word of the mainstream political parties, all of whom are committed to tighter immigration and asylum controls.

lies

I thought this was going to be pointing out that in fact less than 30% (2 of 7) of the group arrested the other day had applied for asylum and that the headlines were inaccurate attempts to stir up hatred to distract us from all the shit going on in our name elsewhere (again). Oh well.

The main article here is a BNP press release.

In fact, the BNP are clearly now posting all their press releases on IMC as a matter of course. Should we be concerned, or just ignore them?

The BNP is a group based on hate and nazism. It may pretend
that it has other ideas to put forward but it is just a smoke screen .Just visit there sites there groups and you will see the vile thilth in what they belive .Freedom of speech is based on the respect for others freedoms as well
these scum have none and should be denied access to these normally excellent sites .INDYMEDIA SHOULD NOT BE A SOUND
BOARD FOR SCUM.AUTHOR STRUCK OFF

It's just that (unlike this other mob) they've realised they have to pretend not to be if they want votes.
