London's burning ! London's burning !
All across the town, all across the night
Everybody's driving with full headlights
Black or white turn it on
Face the new the religion
Everybody's sitting' round watching television !
London's burning with boredom now
London's burning dial 99999
I'm up and down the Westway, in an'out the lights
What a great traffic system…it's so bright
I can't think of a better way to spend the night
Then speeding around underneath the
Yellow lights
London's burning with boredom now
London's burning dial 99999
Now I'm in the subway and I'm looking for the flat
This one leads to this block, this one leads to that
The wind howls through the empty blocks looking for a home
I run through the empty stone because
I'm all alone
London's burning with boredom now
London's burning dial 99999

Did you ever talked to Joe?
Did you know even what Joe was for us old 77 punk?
i respect your words..but respect mine.

only one thing..
'Cos years have passed and things have changed And I move anyway I wanna go I'll never forget the feeling I got When I heard that you'd got home An' I'll never forget the smile on my face 'Cos I knew where you would be An' if you're in the Crown tonight Have a drink on me But go easy… Step lightly…. Stay Free.."

who cares?

Strummer's dead and Thatcher still lives????

Fair play, mind; his last gig was a firefighters' benefit.

Punk as fuck!

C'mon
Punk's boring..its dull dull dull and it annoys me that 99% of 'punks' are middle class drop outs too scared to go to an estate in case they meet some real workers who would give em a kicking for thinking that punk made you working class..
