This was a call for a spontaneus demonstration after the arrest of so-called terrorist subjects in Scotland.

AT 1pm on SATURDAY 21st DECEMBER we call on everyone who can be available to take an hour and a half out of whatever they are doing and get along to Govan Police Station in Helen Street Glasgow. There will be stalls and talks and a chance to make your voice heard against this preposterous
and outrageous manipulation of the British and Scottish public's sense and sensibilities and support the human right's of those being held.

The cynical manner in which the government is manipulating a war agenda appears to know no bounds. First a dossier of Iraqi breaches of human rights that have been known about for years - the publication of which was condemned by Amnesty International and many others including Labour MP's.
Then the gradual fear factor by indicating the "likelihood" of a terrorist attack in the UK announced by Jack Straw - rapidly withdrawn the next day by faceless officials Then the media hype from government press releases about the making available of antidotes to small pox germ warfare. All this is now coupled to the announcement of sky marshall's by transport secretary
Alistair Darling - 16 months after the twin tower tragedy. (Will this help to avert a suicide bomber?)
And now, predictably, the arrest of 6 so called "north Africans" in Edinburgh who, for whatever reason were secreted through to Glasgow's Govan police station where a full media posse have been tipped off and continue to
lie in waiting.
These people, whoever they, are have been held under new legislation without charge. No-one knows what is happening to them and all the "normal" rules that have been applied in Scottish justice for centuries are suspended under this legislation. (Already one so called "terrorist" held for many months has been released without any charges and with a gross affront to his family, his integrity and of course his mental health)
Tonight, and predictably, Tony Blair has told the nation that he is telling the troops to be prepared for war after Christmas. Why do this?
The whole process is now a cynical manipulation of the British public in the interests of at best threatening Sadam Hussein and at worst patronising and probably unnecessarily terrifying the public. AND let us be clear this is all being done without the backing or will of parliament. Is it acceptable that such decisions and this clear manufacture of ideas should be allowed to happen without consent?
