Yomango group called people to gather at 12pm in Passeig de Gracia, central Barcelona, togerther with people gathered there for a "cacerolazo" (banging of pots and pans protest).

Around 300 people took part in today´s protests. As the main demonstration started to move towards Pca Catalunya, some yomango-istas quickly moved into Banco Santander (one of the major Spanish banks with many interests in Argentina) and before security guards realised, they strated to open the bottles of Cava that were reappropiated in yesterday´s action. This was not only an action of defiance but more importantly a cellebration of one year of popular struggles in Argentina.

A surreal situation took place when security guards, bank workers and the few costumers around couldn´t believe what was going on. The action lasted for some 10 minutes and the yomango-istas left before matters got too tense. They then joined the main demo that moved towards Telefonica (main spanish telecom company) that also has major investments in Argentina, and then to Banco Bilbao Vizcaya one of the biggest Spanish bank/corporations not only in Spain but also in Argentina and many other Latin American countires.
