Monsanto Chief Executive Officer Hendrik A. Verfaillie Resigns, Citing Company's Poor Financial Performance and blaming among other things the resistance (especially in Europe & Africa) that had developed across the world against GM crops.
The business report from Associated Press, moans how the 'downturn' in the Argentine economy has made it difficult for Monsanto as well. Terrible, isn't it? Never mind about all the people that the IMF induced crisis made destitute, and the fact that Monsanto have kicked small farmers off their land so they could grow millions of acres of GM Soya, which as it turns out, no one wants, including the the Argentine poor who it has been subsequently force fed to.
