Following their successful peace rally in North London, a group of American students living in London UK organised a 24 hour peace vigil and fast outside the US Embassy in London last Sunday to protest against the looming war against Iraq.

A group of American Quaker students braved the cold, wet and windy December weather for a 24 hour fast and peace vigil outside the US Embassy in London which ended on Monday. The event was called after anti-war meeting of over hundred people held in Muswell Hill, North London.
The group plan to organise another event in February to coincide with the international anti-war activities, which will be taking place throughout the world on the 15th February next year.
