Copenhagen: Italian disobedients arrested

Tonight, while we were walking along Copenhagen streets, the city actually hosting the EU summit on the enlargement of EU to Eastern countries and on Eu civil rights, in contradiction to all of this the right to free movement and dissent was denied.
At 3 o’clock at night police stopped around 20 disobedients who came to Copenhagen via the zapatist caravan, we were stopped to be identified and this turned immediately out to be a “precautionary measures” operation without any reason, as we had already seen in Washington and Praha. Not only citizenship right are being denied but also that perspective of ours which is trying to join together conflict and consensus in order to build new rights within a European political space so far being only a financial and corporations union.
No wonder eight hours before we were blocking the borders to claim freedom of movement not only enlarged to goods but also to all human beings. Police initiave doesn’t casually happen, this brought in fact to six people being stopped and charged of resisting to public order officers: Luca Casarini and the other Italian disobedients spokespeople partaking the disobedience borders action in Flensburg.
It is very clear that a political Europe does not exist, there’s no constituent process open to movements and to civil society, there’s only a quick powers determination. Human beings that would render another Europe possible are arrested. We are actually facing the fact that global war is both and above all an interior war, creating and defining via control and territories militarization a permanent situation of no democracy and freedom spaces.
What happened tonight takes us back to what is at the moment happening in Italy, a criminalization and repression process which we faced recent Cosenza and Genova episodes, Genova is to host next saturday a great movements movement date in order to ask for justice and freedom.
Our Europe holds no borders, repression won’t stop our dreams.
