Hackney Unison officers Suspended!

Wednesday 11th December, the 2 Joint Branch Secretaries of the Hackney Council branch of Unison, Brian Debus and Will Leng, were suspended along with the ex-Branch Sec., John Page.
The 3 are alleged to have broken the Code of Conduct thru an email and a draft document attacking coporate racism
in Hackney that has been produced by the Unison Black Workers Group, and John Page. They have not ben told specifically what they have done wrong!
This is another attack on the union in Hackney that has lead through it's members,not just the defence of workers terms and Conditions inHackney, but has attepted to expose an put a stop to the corporate racism that the CRE accepted excisted in Hackney.
The Branch has already got Unison members to cover the post and will be startng a campaign against this victimisation of union activists.
