it seems like it's ok in Hebrew, but the editors of Haaretzdaily.com, the online Egnlish edition of Haaretz, prefer not to share some things with their readers abroad, american jews, and diplomats. to demonstrate this, and to help haaretz readers in english enjoy their paper more fully, i translated two such omitted articles from today's paper, and from last week's supplement.
today's article by joseph algazy, titled "converted to islam? the government will send you to a psychiatrist" is available at  http://oznik.com/words/021212.html
last weeks article by edo amin, "civilians killed on duty" was translated from its full version in amin's weekly newsletter, doch amin, and is available at  http://oznik.com/words/021210.html. it's accompanied by screen shots from the idf spokesperson web site, to demonstrate the article's description of the gap between the idf spokesperson announcements in English and in Hebrew. it is only ironic that haaretz's editors also chose to omit it from their English edition.
