Day of disobedience to stop coming war with Iraq

Harlequin | 10.12.2002 15:00

Meet Oxford Circus, Oxford Street, London on Saturday the 21st of December from midday onwards for a day of disobedience aimed at stopping the coming war with Iraq.

The day of action will include a blockade of Oxford Street to bring central London to a standstill on the buiest shopping day of the year. This will send a clear message to the government that no attack on Iraq will be tolerated or done in our name.

I'd like to encourage everyone who can to check out this site and try and promote the idea. Tell friends, local organisations, the national StWC and anyone who'll listen, if we're serious about stopping the war this is the kind of thing we should be promoting.

Now what are you waiting for? get going!

Sorry, nothing to do with the above article... Harlequin, my lawyer has asked that I try and get in touch with you regarding Hallowe'en night & the pictures you sent. Please can you email me at the addy above (or phone) or get in touch with Andy Katzen at Moss & co? I'm in court on Jan 15 and would appreciate if you'd make a statement or be a witness. Cheers.
Sorry to everyone else for abusing this facility.
