Protests in Berlin against visit of Israeli delegation.

Hands off Palestine. No weapons to Israel.
Today in Berlin a march under this motto took place in order to protest against the visit of the Israeli delegation´s visit to the city. The march called for an end to the Zionist policies of Israel and for an embargo of weapons to the Israeli state. Sounds like a good idea? Think again….
The march was organised by the Nationalist Party of Germany (NPD) and the Kameradschaft racist neo-fascist gangs responsible for over 120 murders in the last 10 years alone. Despite a street blockade of more than 350 anti- fascists the Berlin police decided to beat the march of less than 50 neo- fascists through the city. A massive police presence beat and drove back left- wing protesters, causing many injuries, in order to allow this openly anti- Semitic march.
This situation has been escalating for a while now. On the last few “Solidarity with Palestine” marches the neo- Nazis have been present. Shouts of “Sieg Heil” and “Kill the Jews” were commonplace and Hamas flags were flown. Recently heads of the NPD were warmly accepted at a joint public meeting with Arabic nationalist and Islamic extremists, and neo-Nazis have been wearing pali-scarves to show their support against Israel and American imperialism. Without falling into the silly argumentation of “my enemy´s friend is my enemy” logic, which sadly dominates the anti- Semitic and anti- American postings on IMC its necessary to analyse why the Nazis have come to this position.
Firstly the Nazis quite obviously hate the Jews. They try to play down the horrors of the Third Reich and the crimes of fascist Germany. Although many Zionists had already bought land under British rule in Palestine the events of Auschwitz made the necessity of a Zionist state clear. German Jews were killed and murdered by their neighbours although they were highly integrated and played an important role in society. 6 million were pushed into ghettos, forced to work as slaves and then brutally murdered in the most horrible episode of history in Europe, if not the world. Anti Jewish groups in the Middle East had contact with right- wing Germans as far back as Hitler himself and although they may seem strange bed fellows to us their hate of Jews prevailed. With German Nazis this goes a step further as they will not accept the victim status of the Jews. According to them the Jews were the oppressors who got what they deserved. This puts them in strong allegiance to suicide bombers.
The second- reason is the idea of Land and Blood, an important part of all neo- fascist ideology. The Palestinian land belongs to the Palestinian people, just as Germany belongs to the Germans. It´s the same hate propaganda of Nick Griffin, the same “No black in the Union Jack” racist concept. Nazis see the Palestinian and Arab peoples fighting for a “Homeland” and nation, where they belong. It doesn´t matter to them that Israel was grounded on land bought fairly and squarely or on land won in a war of defence. According to Nazis Israelis just don´t belong there, even on land bought by them or lived on by them, just as the BNP doesn´t think that someone of a “non-British” origin has no right to live in this shitty land.
The third- reason is the honour of a death for the nation. The ultimate sacrifice for your people, race and nation. Neo- nazis love this sort of stuff and draw parallels to the SS troops who went out to their death to fight against the red army and suicide bombers who fight for their “nation” and “people”. In their sick ideology they prepare for the ultimate race war in order to pure their races and peoples. The extremists in Palestine find an ideological partner here too.
Denial of Israel is a denial of the atrocity of the Holocaust.
Denial of Israel is an acceptance of Nazi ideology.
Denial of Israel is a denial of anti- Semitism.
Excusing suicide bombers is excusing fascism.

It promotes the idea that the holocaust was solely a product of non-jews.
Under the disgusting regiem of the nazies, only two flags flew on government buildings: one was the swastika, the other the flag of the zionist league.
The zionists constantly undermined the escape routes of jews, blocked the 'buying' to freedom of any others, and after the war, not only engaged in dreadful actions of terror against the population [non-jewish] of palestine and the very armies that had fought sacrificed and died against the nazies, but also allowed high ranking nazies to escape the punishment they richly deserved by spiriting them away to the usa, russia and YES palestine/israel.
This was all done under the notion that without jewish blood, the state of israel would not muster enough support, politically and militarily to survive.

Why? Possibly because the big anti-war and left groups in the UK haven't fallen into the trap of denouncing Islam (or 'Islamism' or 'jehadism' or whatever the Phantom Menace is called this week).
We've resisted the divide-and-rule of anti-Islam propaganda and stood firm together. And now we have a diverse but united anti-war campaign, whereas the movement in Germany is indeed a something of a mess.
So the suggestion that we've got it wrong and should adopt the anti-Islam approach of the German left surely fies in the face of the evidence! Haven't we in the UK (at least in this case) got it basically right?
