Instead of whinging at people who are doing something, why don't you get on with your heroic tommy-gun clutching assault - harlequin, you curiously outfitted whiney twat?

Are the the STWC supporting this?

Is this being supported by the Stop the War Coalition? I can't see anything on their website about it.

Yet more non-direct action?

09.12.2002 16:07

Oh dear... I thought that for once, people might be prepared to engage in direct action against the state. But instead, it seems that the action against fairford has been turned into another impotent, non-confrontational, hang-around-and-listen-to-our-leaders-speaking pointless spectacle.

Well, I'll be going there and so will some friends... we'll see what we can do to stop this being another spectacular waste of time.

Direct action, not symbolic protest!

Ridiculous Assumptions

09.12.2002 16:29

As repeatedly stated in previous updates, NVDA is a welcome & recognised method of demonstrating at the Fairford Demo.

The above is clearly just a basic agenda, & as we don't know who's going to do what type of NVDA it clearly couldn't go in the basic agenda anyway, & nor should it as this would only give certain people prior knowlegdge.

Full Backing Of National Coalition

10.12.2002 03:43

A little late in the day, but the Fairford Demo now has the full backing of the National Coalition. See the front page:
 http://www.stopwar.org.uk/

NVDA (non-violent direct action) is welcome & recognised at this Demonstration as a legitimate method of Demonstration. We only ask that individuals take full responsibility for their own actions, & arrange their own legal defence if required.

See Latest Posting For Coach Info

As this Demo has been called at short notice info on coaches is very patchy.

The latest posting titled 'National Coalition Gives Full Backing' contains info on coaches, & a request for coach info.

Please check, & add, & request details at the bottom of that posting.
