More than 100 Israeli exhibitors traveled to London's Alexandra Palace on Sunday to participate in Israel Expo 2002, the first event of its kind in Britain.
The exhibition, in response to the deteriorating economic conditions, was organized by the British Zionist Federation, with the support of other Jewish and Israeli organizations and the Israeli Embassy.
"The expo is our way of supporting Israeli businesses, many of them run by individuals, who are suffering as a result of the situation," said Zionist Federation director Alan Aziz. He said it is a great opportunity for British Jews and others to express solidarity with Israel through support for Israeli-based business."

What was billed as a "fun day out for the family" seemed to be ruined by this "reminder of home" for some of the vistors.
Oh well, maybe they had limited column space. I'm sure the Israeli media wouldn't fail to report such a protest on purpose! After all, its "the arabs who misrepresent the situation", isn't it?
