Nick Griffin to speak in Cambridge

I was shocked to read the following report in the Guardian...

Far right groups love the prestige of talking at such events and the outcome of the discussion doesn´t matter at all to them. Griffin can claim that he spoke at Cambridge University. That´s enough for him and his idiot followers.
In Berlin Mr Stoiber, the leader of the CSU, wanted to speak at the famous University here but the event was called off at the last minute as protesters filled the university. Some people had dressed up in shirts and ties and it was impossible for Stoiber´s security to get him into the building, or to know who was there for the debate and who was there to make trouble.
The university gates were locked together with bicycle locks and banners were hung up in trees. The university land is a legal nightmare. The police couldn´t intervene on the site without the express wishes of the head of the uni and at the same time there was no way of stopping anyone who wanted from entering the area.
It´s really important to make a stand against the views of people like Griffin. They can stick their "national identity" and mono-cultural views where the sun don´t shine. After the recent stress they have caused the BNP and their supporters have shown their true colours. (Let´s not forget though that it was the scummy Tories who started the big media anti-immigration wave that the BNP rode on.)
I hope this is a useful posting. Are there any protests against this or against the uni or the Lib Dems? Please feel free to attach them. Good Luck.
Fascism is a not an opinion. Fascism is a crime.
