Ghost of Vietnam Cannot Dissapear

Sharon Kissinger Poindexter. What do they have in common?

Bushs' Party is in the footsteps of his statelet in Israel...

Sharons election, the man who presided over the intervention in the Lebanon and the defeat they sufferred there now is undertaking to build a wall just like in the Middle East to divide the ZIonist entity from the Arabs once and for all.

The discussion regarding the expulsion of 2 million Palaistinians is for internal consumption. In the concrete situation Israel is between a rock and a hard place. Having been defeated by the Palaistinians and the Lebanese it was forced into discussions with Arafat. A section of the people with a massive experience of war against ISrael could now play a significant role as has occurred during the second intifada...

Beyond the killing of unarmed civilians, Sharon only knows about military defeats and only knows how to bring them about. The cost of this violence is massive in both military and human numbers. Days do not go by without some type of resistance. Every resistance brings about the ruling cicles in Israel into an impasse...

The fact that the ghosts of the past are now being given government posts shows the impasse of the Bush government. On the one hand they are trying to convince themselves that the ghosts of Vietnam and Iran are behind them and that in out times they are the only superpower and on the other hand they bring back characters who have governed only during defeats, not victories. It is more to do with internal consumption than anything else.

The Republican Party is now governing in a situation of massive contradictions. On the one hand it wants to occypy the Middle East, on the other it doesn't want to lose soldiers and it wants others to fight for its behalf, Turks or Kurds in Northern Irak. The achillees heel of the Americans are ground soldiers.

If the Iraquis offer dynamic resistance how will the AMericans occupy it? The myth regarding military victory in Afghanistan are such that they cant even travel outside the few bases they have. The excuse they give is that they are chasing non-existent ghosts,... Al Quaida.

The real ghosts of the past, the various Kissingers and Sarons are now being promoted thinking thus that they can deceive history, a history full of defeats sufferred by American imperialism. But history cannot be deceived so easily so do not let our globalists regoice.

Vietnam isn't simply the past, but the present and the future.
